To spread hateful and racist comments on her platform, Google-owned YouTube is examining hidden comments on videos as default and the test is live in India.

The new feature is now being tested in Android, it does not hide the viewer's comments until the viewer taps the "comments" button.

"We're experimenting with several different options for displaying comments on the watch page, it's one of the very small tests that are always going on in YouTube, and we'll consider more broadly rolling features based on this test response," YouTube spokesman told IANA on Friday.

Currently, the experimental feature is turned on by default, but the creator has the option to turn off the feature, which will generally show comment under their videos like normal layouts.

In February, YouTube announced that it would not recommend "close" videos for violating its community guidelines, such as conspiracy or claiming false claims of worldly claims or flawed claims about historic events.

The Facebook-owned photo-messaging app Instagram is planning to hide the 'Like' number for the app's posts, to share better and intelligent content sharing and user focus on the same platform and user focus.
